Lab Technician

Primary responsibilities:

• Execute process experiments to improve solar cell technology
• Perform electrical and optical measurements
  
• Compile, organize, and present data
• Maintain and upkeep lab equipment and facilities
• Assist in general device characterization and stability related activities for other functional groups
  
  

To be considered, candidates must have the following background:

Education and Certifications

• Associates degree in technical discipline preferred
  

Professional Experience

• More than two years experience working in engineering or laboratory environment
  
• Experience with chemical processing, solar cells, and electrical tests
  
• Proficient in MS Office skills, Excel
  
  

Specific skills and knowledge

• Comfortable in lab environment and working with chemicals
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work with small parts
• Must be organized
• Able to load solar panels (up to 30 lbs) into test equipment and storage containers
